Story Arcs & Major Battles
Robin's introduction in the Alabasta arc placed her as the vice-president of Baroque Works, working under the Warlord Sir Crocodile. As Miss All Sunday, she assisted Crocodile's scheme to destabilize the Alabasta Kingdom while secretly searching for the Poneglyph beneath the royal tomb. After Crocodile's defeat, Robin vanished, choosing to continue her journey alone rather than face the inevitable betrayal she expected from any crew.
The Skypiea arc marked Robin's first major contribution as a Straw Hat ally. She deciphered the Shandorian Poneglyph in the Upper Yard, uncovering the history of the ancient city of Shandora and the bell of Gold Roger's era. Her excitement at discovering the historical connection between Shandora and the Moon people revealed her genuine passion for archaeology.
The Enies Lobby arc stands as Robin's defining saga. The World Government captured her to extract her knowledge of Poneglyphs, forcing her to choose between her life and her friends' safety. She willingly surrendered to CP9, believing her death would protect the crew. The Straw Hats declared war on the World Government by burning the flag of Enies Lobby, and Luffy's command to "I want to live" — Robin's tearful response — cemented her place in the crew forever. The subsequent battle against CP9 showcased Robin's combat growth as she defeated Yama with her Clutch techniques.
In the Wano Country arc, Robin reached new heights of power. She faced Black Maria, one of Kaido's Tobiroppo, in a brutal battle that pushed her to awaken her Devil Fruit. The manifestation of Demonio Fleur: Giganteo Mano overwhelmed Black Maria completely, proving Robin's evolution from a support fighter to a genuine powerhouse capable of defeating a Tobiroppo-level opponent.
